    hooking up my MBP to my HDMI TV

    I use to be able to play my blue ray's on my tv with hdmi and my sony book now I'm using my home computer with 2 video card plug-ins one for my monitor and the other is HDMI to my tv for justin-tv movies but I'm limited to that because thats in the back room I would like to use my MBP to use with my living room TV so what connections would I need to do this HDMI to ? and if so any links to something cheapo!

    Mine don't with the dual ATI 4870 video card in my home computer but I guess I could put the sound thru other wires if I want to ( I Guess ) not sure I don't see why not either

    probably the same with the mini
    maybe I'll do that tomorrow

    got the mini today and tried it on 2 different tvs and it doesn't work with either on my sony 52 br6 it comes on once in awhile and sometimes nothing then if it does display it only shows the screen saver or things insys prefs it does not show the icons on my sharp 37 inch it shows nothing at all I kept playiing with the connections still no good

    any help would be appreciated !

    curious to setting up my mac to hdmi tv as well. youre gonna need an audio cable too !

    right now I'm using my home computer with netflix , justin tv, and a few other sites to watch movies,

    I'm going to send my mini back to them because there seems to be a problem with this cable but i'm going to try another, and yes you'll need some speakers or a set of audio cables depending on how your'll hook it up , there's a lot of websites that give you movies and sports and cable news live, I just updated my firmware on my linksys TM DD-wrt router today and what a difference it makes my sons PS3 picked up an extra bar and my 3GS iphone is super fast loading pages :D

    anyone here have a hookup with the mini port for watching movie off the internet my mini port is working with the TV but i'm having some problems in safari the tech from mono said to uncheck the over scan in displays settings but I still can't get rid of one desktop locked on the screen I'd tried this in bootcamp vista and I see other screens anyone know why this one screen stays one my TV ? I tried changing desktop screen but it doesn't change :confused:
