    have MBP, itunes telling me I have ipod plugged into usb 1.1

    any idea whats going? I never had this problem before but apparently my usb port has switched from 2.0 to 1.1.. lol


    EDIT: it was plugged in using a Ipod dock I got from a 3rd gen ipod, i unplugged it from the dock and plugged it direclty into the USB cord and it seems to me okay now. are these docks only 1.1 or something?

    The dock probably used up too much power or bandwidth from the USB bus such that anything plugged into the dock via USB became limited.
