I am a new Mac user. When doing wordprocessing, how do you get to the beginning or end of a document? On a PC it is control home or end. There is not home or end key on a mac. Wikipedia says hit command and the up arrow or down arrow, but that does not work....Thanks.

Beginning and end:
fn + right arrow
fn + left arrow
Page up and down:
fn + up arrow
fn + down arrow -
fn + right or left arrow takes me to the beginning or end of a line. What would get me to the end or beginning of a document? Thanks.

Try
fn + Command + right arrow
fn + Command + right arrow
In MS Word you can customize the shortcuts too.
As Well, by default, some applications will apply these shortcuts a little differently. Try them in Firefox, say, and see the difference. See this article to see what I mean: http://www.macworld.com/article/145685/2010/01/end_and_home_keys.html
