I have the 2.4ghz 17" MBP. I use it mostly for work (and mostly I'm on the Windows partition). I use BootCamp 1.4 right now to boot into Vista.

When Leopard comes out, I'd like to upgrade. Will that affect my Windows partition at all? I'd like to keep that the way it is since it is working fairly stable for me (for work stuff).

No, you only install the upgrade over your Mac partition.

To answer all the questions, yes you can install Leopard over Tiger so that applications and files from Tiger remain intact. Right now we don't really know if you'll have to reinstall Windows when the final version of Boot Camp arrives.

Leopard will cost $129 US for a full version, and the Student Discount price is expected to be $69 US for a full version.
