I have no idea what the hell you just said. What I can tell you about the MBP is that VERY SOON they'll be upgrading the processors from CDs to C2Ds, so wait for it!

    lol.

He was asking what is the latest week (production) that is out right now, and where to look for it when he gets the box so he can check to see if he has a recent build.

I don't know that info specifically right now, I don't keep track of what week we are that often.

Well the serial number shows what week it was made. Here is how you tell: Looking at my serial it start W8632, where W8 refers to the line I believe, 6 is the year (2006) and 32 is the week. So you should be probably be seeing them around week 35 or 36 by now, so that would read W8635. Get it? It will be on the side of the box.

The first two digits in the serial number say where it is made (what factory), then year, then week. They are constantly made, so the newest would of course be whatever week it is now.

If you're shopping in a store, you can check it on the box as cashmonee said.
If you're shopping from the Apple Store online or over the phone, it should be one of the newest units off the production line.
