So I have this 19" widescreen that I hook up to at work. I grabbed a couple of super wide wallpapers so that I could have them go all the way across. Only problem is that I don't know how to do that. Can anybody help me out here?

it won't work very well as you are using two separate screen sizes, but I am pretty sure their is a way to have 2 separate wallpapers on external monitors in OSX.

the OSX multi monitor solution is actually really really nice, I like it quite a bit more than Windows, although both are missing a few features, osx more than windows.

What graphics card have you got.

If it's nVidia: right click on the desktop, select nVidia display and then on the nView Display settings tab make sure the nView Display Mode is set to horizontal span - you'll need to position your second monitor on the right of our notebook.

Hope this helped - if I got the wrong idea or this didn't help please do PM me.

It is nice of Nvidia to provide nView utilities for Macs and OS X. :D Curious that they didn't do a press release or something, I always thought it was Windows-only. ;)

No sorry I didn't see that you had a MacBook.

I've never had my own MacBook - only played about with some of my mate's. What's it like?

well since you have a Mac i highly doubt that method will be successful :p

you should be able set it up in system preferences. Apple Logo in menu bar/system preferences/display setup, etc. wallpaper, etc. just look around in system preferences. and after you get it set up, keep looking at system preferences and just see all that you can do, trust me, you will be happy you did!

    good luck.
