Does any one have an easier way to transfer messages from mac mail to Outlook 07 other than using an Imap account or setting up an Imap server plugin in outlook?

I have to move ALOT of machines over and all have thousands of e-mails.

I thought Outlook would import mail for Mac Mail. I do not use Mac Mail his does not have any advanced features for processing mail. I do think it has an export function though that may work. If at server level I do not know.

nope, IF I wanted to export all the messages RAW I could but each machine has in excess of 100 folders and thousands of e-mails. Looks like I am stuck using the IMAP trick. Mac mail export has always been weak and Outlook wont read a mac mail backup... that I ahve found sofar

IMAP is the way to go!
if you don't have the space on your current email server, you can a Gmail account to mediate the transfer, I think they have around 7Gb of storage.

LOL, yep, im through the first 20 machines, I just use a free imap program on my HTPC ( hMailserver )... 20T seems to be big enough :D

still wishing there was a faster way to do a direct import/export but hey atleast this works well
