This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    id assume this is the case but im planning on buying a macbook soon and in the near future im going to add a 200-250 gb hd (not sure exactly which yet due to rpm speeds) anyways with timemachine will i be able to back up my harddrive and than put its contents on the new hd without an issue?
