    so i see it comes with a 1680x1050 resolution by default. when customizing i have the option to pikc high resolution glossy widescreen

    is that 1920x1200? i remember dell option similar it will say 1920x1200 but apple didnt say what resolution ? :confused:

    Yes, it's 1920x1200.

    And it's the highest density screen Apple has ever produced at 133 dpi. I love high rez screens and was seriously considering getting this one - particularly since Apple's 17" is as small as others' 15 inchers.

    But I found the 1920 resolution just too high - I think this designed for resolution-independent displays like Leopard will offer.

    Go for it. I have one and it is awesome! everything is sharp and clear. If you read text ALL day long, just bump the text size up a little.
