    connecting unibody macbook pro to old tv

    so i have an old 27" sony wega tv. It only has s-video and component ports. So how do i connect my macbook pro to tv? will something like minidisplay to vga>vga to s-video will work?

    Thats your best bet. Apple used to make an S-video adaptor for the old mini-dvi out port. Unfortunately they haven't done one for the mini display port.

    Daisy chaining should work. However why S-Video? Isnt Component better? VGA should convert to Component.
