    i can read emails fine in mail but when i try to send one it tells me my sending email address was rejected by the server. here are my settings what did i do wrong? [​IMG]

    Usually this means your isp doesn't allow smtp traffic other than through their own smtp server - which just means that you have to put your isp's outgoing mail server as smtp server. Try that. My experience from helping others with Mail.app issues tells me this is the issue in at least 90% of the cases where people can receive but not send mail.

    ok thanks guys its workin now. i re-did the whole setup following the instructions and now it works. it think what happened was i forget to put @gmail.com somewhere.
