    does anyone reckon i can trade in my 1 month old MBP santa rosa for a the new macbook pro, it doesnt matter if i have to pay extra, but can it be done, cause i really like it :)

    Nope... me and my friend from Hungry went yesterday ti ask (he got his 2.5 weeks ago0
    It's not that great of an update any way...
    The mouse is terrible, and the glossy screen sucks, and the keyboard sucks as well
    :)

    Personally, I think the aesthetics of the new macbook (pros) are pretty darn awful with the black bezel.

    On topic, you probably can return your laptop but you'll likely have to pay a stocking fee. Depends where u got it and what their policies are.

    I love how people feel the need to always apply their opinion when a simple question is asked.

    also, a search would have answered the question as well.

    I like how the new MBP just came out and people express how it sucks when they probably haven't spent time using one.

    i have, and i honestly didn't think it was that great. it looked cool, but the tap system on my hp is so much more efficient. hell, they have a multitouch mod for firefox.
