Yeaps, until further notice, it seems Boot Camp will be a Leopard-exclusive feature. There was a report back then that Apple would charge Boot Camp on Tiger for $30, but it seems Apple doesn't plan to do that anymore, if ever.

So what happens when it expires?

I can't get Leopard until I start reading that CS3 works well.

Your current boot camp installation will never expire.

I've heard that Bootcamp for Tiger will expire at the end of the year, and Adobe promises to have all of their major apps properly patched by the end of the year as well. So... if both sides proceed as promised, you shouldn't need to be concerned.

Ah, so "expires" means it's not available for download from Apple.

^Indeed. At the end of the year you are free to keep running boot camp under Tiger if you wish.

Well you already can't download it from Apple. Boot Camp on your computer will cease to work at the end of the year, meaning no more repartitioning, etc. However, you will forever be able to boot into your Windows partition, that will never expire. That is how I understood it.

I guess Apple just figured anyone who runs Boot Camp will likely be buying Leopard anyway.
