i recently installed bootcamp and now there is an icon for the windows partition on my osX desktop and it's called untitled. It won't let me change the name. Do I need to leave this here, or can I delete it without affecting windows?
    Thanks

When you boot into windows, change the name of the C Drive there using Windows Explorer. Whatever you give the name there, will appear on OS X desktop.

You can always change the name anytime in OSX if you mount it with ntfs-3g via terminal with -volname="blahblah" too if you use osx. Then you can write to it via osx as well.
