I'm sure you all have seen the great looking effects created by Beryl and Compiz Fusion on Ubuntu, and I'm wondering, is there any way to port those programs to run with tiger? Or is there and program similar to those that runs on mac?

Compiz is only for Linux. I doubt there is any way to get it to run in OS X.
