    you should do a little research before you buy it I think, but yes that is a good deal. as long as the internals aren't at all damaged etc.

    PowerBooks didn't have glossy screens, yes it is widescreen,

    That's a steal at $400. Definitley worth it. Those dents will probably be fixable, if it matters. I would bet an Apple affiliate could do it for you, though the labor would be a lot. If you're brave you could attempt it yourself, but would have to pretty much completely disassemble the thing. All I'm saying is.. it's possible.

    That's a Powerbook, so it's better than an iBook anyway ;) Good deal for 400 if it works, I'd say.

    According to the Apple specs site (I ran the serial number through their search there) it's a 15.2" display (widescreen it looks like, native resolution 1280x854). Glossy did not exist in Mac portables before Macbooks came out (and later Macbook Pro also got an option for choosing between matte and glossy when ordering).
