I know this isn't entirely the best place to ask (but since you're all so helpful n knowledgeable) - anyone had any problems connecting to a netgear router? Upgraded recently and while my pcs picked it up just fine the iphones and macbook pro in the house seem to find the signal and then be unable to connect to it.

    Which is strange.

Wondering if anyone had a similar bit of weirdness as my laptop has normally been the height of usability!

I think I know the problem. Did you open the connection for your new mac? Go to your router settings and open the connection, but remember to lock it after you do.
