    I found a $15 solution that worked ok... playback worked however it took some format recoding with hand break to get it to stream to the xbox... it did work though so theres that... lol

    what´s the name of the software? but why buying if you can get a solution for free (vlc)?

    Vuze seemed to show up fine on my PS3 (should be the same for Xbox)

    It's a free torrent program/media server I think.

    Run Windows in Parallels/VMWareFusion?

    Also it might just be easier to link your TV to your MBP and use that. If you have Boxee you can use the IR Sensor (built in) + a universal remote, it works just as well as the 360.

    software name is (playback) watched a whole movie no problem.

    To plug in the macbook I would not be able to use it for my school work. With playback I can stream it to my tv (for the wife) and I can do my work.

    You can connect an external hard drive to the 360 I think.

    yes you can, but I wanted to stream, playback is awesome worth the $15.00 watched Apollo 18 and warrior on my big screen from my my mac, while I was doing homework... My wife loves it!! lol
