    anyone tried to run simcity 4 on their inte macs?

    i tried to run the game on a 2ghz 1gb ram mbp but it lags so much that i quit the game after 5 min. Just want to know if anyone tried and successfully run that game on an intel mac and what are the possible solutions to make it run smoother.

    It's not a UB so it will run poorly. You'll either have to play it in Windows (through bootcamp or even possibly parallels) or wait and see if htey come out wiht a UB version.

    He's talking about on Mac OS X.

    I was listening to the Tech Night Owl Live with Gene Steinberg the other night on his weekly podcast, he had a guest from Aspire (big game maker for Mac OS) and the lady said that Aspire was looking to make a Universal version of Sim City 4, it's not out right now, but they are looking at possibly releasing it as Universal at the least. So keep your eyes peeled for it.

    Yeah, Aspyr said in an email that they will be making a UB for Sim-City 4 along with others like Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, etc...
