    anyone experiencing discoloration?

    Just wondered if anyone on these forums with a white Macbook is seeing yellow discoloration on their unit. I know that compared to the # of units sold, the reports of yellowing are minute, but I'd still like to get an idea of how much of an issue this really is.

    I think the stry was posted here, but I am not sure I have seen anyone report it here. Also, I believe they found a fix for it.

    users reporting on the Apple support site claim nothing has worked so far. they've tried everything from the Mr.Clean magic eraser to acetone based nail polish remover (NOT a good idea).

    so no one on these forums has this problem?

    Hm, I believe they said NON-Aceton based nail polish remover helped some, and in some cases removed in completely. Some also reported success with the Magic Eraser. I think the majority of solutions will be different from person to person, being the stain most likely comes from your skin.

    most likely a self tanner or somthing stupid like that.
