    hey everyone, i need help deciding. i know i'll probably get a biased response, but below are my choices at this point with a $1000 budget. i'm in need of a laptop with at least 5 hours of battery life for every day use and on-the-go photo & video editing along with some light gaming.


    2012 Macbook Pro 13" - $950
    2012 Macbook Pro 15" non-retina - $1200 ~ $1300 (i know this is out of my budget, but it is under consideration...)
    Sony Vaio S13 Premium - $1020 (with the GeForce 640)
    Sony Vaio S15 - $900 (with the GeForce 640)

    You would probably get more help over in the WNSIB forum, especially uf you listed the applications you need or want to use etc.

    thanks, i already posted there, but after 231 views, 0 replies so far. :(

    applications aren't a big concern. if i end up getting a Macbook Pro, i can always use boot camp for Windows stuff.

    i use Photoshop and Adobe Premier, but would like to try Final Cut if i have the opportunity.
