    hello
im leaning towards buying a macbook pro 15' instead of a m1330 but i have a question. now i want to run vista on the macbook so i know two partitions must be made but i wanted to know if we can create a third partition to store all medias and documents?, so if one OS corrupts i wont have to lose all my data....
also should i wait for leopard to be released with the full version of bootcamp of just buy now and update later?
    thanks

Boot Camp 1.3 Beta is free...when the final version of Boot Camp is released Tiger users will have to pay $29 for a license, and the final version is bundled in Leopard.

Yes, upgrading to Leopard will be fine and simple. You have the option the install over Tiger so your applications and files from Tiger aren't erased but you have Leopard installed.

    i have another question....
what if i realize i dont need vista anymore and go wit mac all the way or vice-versa, how would i go about transfering all the files (videos, musix, pics, documents, programs) saved in one partition to the other?
i just really need to know this stuff because i dont want to buy a mac and regret something about it

You can drag the files off your Windows partition back onto your Mac.

I don't think the current version of bootcamp allows you to partition inside of Windows. You can, however, access all your windows files from OS X, and can even write directly to the drive if you format it to FAT32(otherwise you'd have to use parallels to transfer files to Windows).

The best bet for you would probably be to use an external hard drive. You may be able to create a partition on your Mac side hard drive, and allow your Vista partition to access it, but I don't know the procedure or if it's truly even possible.
