    Hey guys i just got a new touch, and i am also waiting for my new mbp to arrive on the 25th. I have a few questions about the touch, some may be stupid though so bare with me lol and thanks.

    How do i set up my msn acount on the mail portion? i tried and it said it could not subscribe.

    any case recommendations?

    and is it possible to save driving directions and youtube videos to the ipod when not on wi fi?

    and what is the white piece with the rectangle hole in it used for?

    I think the white piece is an adapter if you want to use a stand, so that the touch will fit correctly.

    Sadly, the ipod touch does not support msn e-mail accounts, I also ran into that problem.

    As for saving YouTube videos, once you've jailbroken your iPod touch as the previous post mentioned, MxTube is an awesome app that lets you download YouTube videos (including high-quality versions).

    I do not think that hotmail is a good email, because it does not support pop unless you pay for it.
    Also it does not allow you to forward all your email to other account except for live or msn.com
    I really wish that they allow users to forward all the email to other client such as gmail, because gmail is excellent in preventing spams.

    you can't save directions or videos to your iPod touch without jailbreaking it (unless someone writes an app for it on the App Store :) ) The best way to use directions is to load them up BEFORE you leave for your trip and turn WiFi OFF (otherwise it'll try to refresh the page and then you'll get an annoying popup that you don't have a connection) I have a touch and I've done this several times to get to friends' houses for parties and such. As for the YouTube videos, you can cross your fingers and pray someone writes an app for it, or jailbreak it. You're choice

    thanks for the input guys. im learning more as i play with it. i wish hot mail was compatible, but other than that im loving it. Im look to get a dlo jamjacket case for it with the multi clip. anyone used this case before?
