Thanks to this forum, I just purchased a refurb 2.53GHZ i5/500GB MBP. It should be here in a few days!

I've spent many hours on this forum reading and learning....thanks to all you guys for your input. Also thanks to Dell for pushing me over the edge.

Now for my first stupid question.....

How do you "drag and drop" something with the touchpad, since there isn't any right/left buttons?

    Regards,
    Trvlngnrs

    I understand.

So if I want to move a file into a folder, do I push the trackpad down with one finger while sliding across the trackpad with another finger?

Yes, or you can do a tap-hold-drag. PCs could do this too, it's not multi-touch dependent.

click down with 1 finger, while moving with a second finger (like pretending there is a button at the bottom of the trackpad) is the easiest for me.

    $1699

There was also an i5 with 320GB hard drive. I think it was around $1529 or so.

there is also a setting that you can set up so that if you tap on a window bar, then you can move it around freely, and tap again to release.
