    Fixed:

Lion will include Xcode 4. It still won't be free on Snow Leopard. Facetime and possibly other apps will also work that way.

Despite the edit, very noteworthy news for some (including me). Ty for the heads up. +rep

Thats cool. Although I think it is only about $5 from the app store now.

but a penny saved is a penny earned :)

just a FYI that pay 5 dollars version of xcode will not work on the developer preview of lion. There is another "proper" way to get it being a registered developer you should not be getting it from the store. if you do you just waste 5 dollars

I wonder if Apple will give $5 off for people who bought Xcode 4 and then later get Lion... wishful thinking, but it ain't a hit on the wallet.

Does anyone have the filename of the video of where the above screenshot was taken?

I remember seeing it, but can't find it now in the WWDC 2011 videos

IIRC It also talk about the differences between Xcode 4.1 and Xcode 4.2

This year's WWDC does not have subtitles, so I can't search it.

    thanks

ok its in Session 300 - Developer Tools Kickoff
