I just thought I’d warn people in the UK to avoid ordering things from the Apple site. I ordered a Macbook Pro last Monday morning. It was supposedly dispatched on Wednesday afternoon. I can not track it at all from the apple site, but there is another site that can be used to track it. Apparently due to an aircraft problem my MBP is still in China!

I can not understand why Apple bother sending it to the Netherlands, then to a warehouse in the UK then on to my house. This is the worst shipping method I have ever experienced and it’s beginning to make me wonder if I’ve purchased the right laptop. When I bought an Acer a few months ago I had it 2 days after ordering, id be surprised if I had my MPB in the next 2 weeks. I’m really thinking of cancelling my order and buying something else from a company that can ship their products faster, because Apple obviously don't care how long it takes for me to receive my laptop!

It's probably the cheapest shipping method. Did you have to pay for shipping or was shipping FREE?

Just be glad you are not shipping to the US and your MBP gets stuck in Customs for 2 days.

I would have happily paid for faster shipping, and when it eventually enters the netherlands it will be stuck in customs for a few days.

You think you've got it bad, I ordered my Mac on the 8th of November, and today, the 21st, I still have no tracking number. It says on the website that my order should arrive on the 24th. Let's hope it will.

Try using your 10 digit delivery ref number (should begin with 80) here: http://www.apecode.com/appletrack/

You guys should really check out Lenovo, they seem to make every other company look good, delivery and shipping time wise. One can get really excited and is able to brag about how lucky they are by seeing the est. date of 3 weeks from now from Lenovo.

How did yours get stuck in shipping? The MBP should have been shipped from a warehouse in the US.

Mine arrived in 6 days (delayed due to credit card issue).

Compared to mine yours is pretty good. Mine was ordered on the 30th of October and it still is not even shipped yet nearly a month on.
