This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    World of Warcraft Error - could not initialize storage

    This is a recent reinstall of Leopard. I downloaded the blizzard downloader but I just keep getting this error.

    I am doing this in my user account as it's always worked in the past this way. Anyone else have this problem?

    I think I found a workaround for it. I couldn't just double click it while it was in it's mounted image. I had to drag the item out of the folder elsewhere and double clicked that one.

    The strange this was it still would not let me eject the mounted image even after I dragged the item onto my desktop.
