Seems to be related to the Bluetooth in the machine.

Now, the only thing that's changed since yesterday is a Bluetooth update for my Apple BT Keyboard. Coincidence? I think not!

Anyway, here's the dump.... Any suggestions?

You could submit it to Apple. If it is a recurring problem then chances are they will release a fix for it.

if you rebooted and it works fine don't worry only if it happens again, then report it to apple.

I send every "terminated abnormally" or panic to Apple unless I'm testing beta software.

Yeah I sent it to Apple. It's my ... very.... sniff ....first KP since I got my MBP in October.

OK, so not technically true. Logitech's drivers were crashing OS X 10.5 back then, but at least it was Logitech's fault and they fixed it. This one... who knows? But strange that a Bluetooth firmware update came out just a day or two ago for the Apple BT keyboard...

Wow... Logitech's drivers caused a KP?

damn... drivers aren't supposed to run in Ring0 (i.e. if they crash, they take everything with them). But good to hear they fixed it.

I've gotten a few KP myself. Parallels... can cause a number of them :p

Yep late 2007, Logitech's mouse drivers were AWFUL because they used some illegal (software command-wise) driver implementation which they removed soon after. I'm sure someone here knows the more technical stuff...

Anyway, I wanted to reinstall OS X anyway, so this is a good excuse. :)

I haven't had a kernel panic since I upgraded the firmware to the SATA card in my G5.

Windows on my Toughbook likes to panic though every time I wake it up from sleep when I'm streaming GPS data...

Logitech's mouse drivers have been infamous for Mac crashed.

Anyway, I don't see too much of an issue with it :p. As long as it doesn't happen too often again.

It rules when you can reinstall an OS without activating. Along with fast installs in general. :)
    Unix rules, no questions.

I use Ubuntu, which installs in 20 minutes.
It's amazing what apple has done with darwin(OS X's open source kernel).
