Hi, i tried witch and it's exactly what i needed for applications switching. The price is $19. Is there an alternative to it? I want to try every alternative before making the plunge. I want the alt+tab experience on my mac.

I don't even understand what Witch gives you you don't already have.... CMD+Tab and CMD+` works decently.. and Expose is great.

i'm confused with all the open windows when using expose. cmd+tab does not list all windows open. It only lists open applications. cmd+` does not seem to do anything on my mac...weird...

    CMD+Tab switches applications, not windows.

CMD+` (key above TAB) switches between windows in the current application.

How many windows do you have open at once?

Wow ... You need an application to switch programs? Is this a serious thread?

Ok, i tried it. Pretty nice but it does not list all windows at once

Lots..firefox, textmate, netbeans, finder, preview, skype, msn and sometimes, office. Plus i have multiple instances of the applications i use.. :(

Yeah, pretty serious indeed. Anyways, im sticking to witch. The trial does not end. It's just a watermark which appears asking me to buy. Nothing disturbing. Thanks guys.

So I looked it up. What does this do that expose doesn't?

    Their pitch seems to be:
But expose can switch between windows of a specific application.

you don't have to Expose all things... if you hold down the mouse (left click) on an app in the dock, after a second it will show in Expose only the windows for that 1 app.

I wanted an app for easy application switching. Using expose, i have to look and find the content of the window before going to it. With witch, a simple alt+tab, and all applications running appear as text in front of me. I just have to press the down button until i have reached the application i need. I have found version 2.0 to be free, don't ask me why, i don't know. Here's the link for those who want to try it and see what i wanted.
