So my internet on my desktop is working. Whenever I shutdown FF3 and then open it up again the internet never works so I go into Network Preferences, click Assist me, then Diagnostics. After it runs through it all, I'm able to get back online. It's annoying to have to do that everytime. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like it might be a bug in FF3. Try using another browser?
