Windows has never been actually installed on my Mac so my answer would be NO. I've come close a few times playing around with virtual box but never really felt the need to follow through. I did install Ubuntu once just to try out the newest version but deleted it shortly after. I did use Ubuntu exclusively for a month on my Dell notebook before ultimately switching to Mac. I find that OS X is the best match for my needs.

yes. i have a santa rosa mbp and a powerbook g4 before that. I tried out windows 7 because I wanted to play a few games but I really enjoyed the compatibility of windows and the interface itself. For my next computer I am thinking about getting a windows pc. I would get a macbook air right now if only the drivers worked well on windows. Damn I love mac hardware.

Now I just go to mac to sync my iphone.

We got an iMac about 18 months ago and my wife still uses Windows 7 all the time; mostly because the programs she uses most of the time don't have a Mac equivalent. I've been trying to convince her to use them via Fusion but, so far, to no avail.

OTOH, I bought a used 15" MBP about 5 months ago and, although I have XP on the bootcamp partition, I haven't felt the need to actually use it more than a handful of times.

Dual booted with W7 RC while it was out, after having my first MBP for 6mo before that, and found that by the time W7 was released I had no reason to need it anymore. I've not found any major capability or project that can't be completed just as effectively with Apple hardware/software, and we now have 4 Macs in the house.

I rarely use Windows 7, as all of my software is available on OSX and let's be honest: once you get used to all the benefits of the touchpad, you can't really transition away from it.

I only boot to Windows for gaming or if something isn't working right in Office 2011.

    Don't play games
Don't use MS Office anywhere but work
Don't need any Windows only software for anything.

So nope, never installed Windows on my machine. Probably never will, unless I need to get Office on my MBP at which point I will much prefer the Windows variant since I use it everyday at work.

Till then though, I doubt it ... All I ever do is surf the web and edit pictures in Lightroom and Photoshop.

I have Windows in a VM that I rarely use. I don't even have it installed in bootcamp anymore, it's a waste of space.

I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my Air and just uploaded some games from steam. Figured if I was bored one day I could play some of the less graphically demanding ones I have. But for the most part I have Steam installed in OSX with CS source and TF2 which run fantastic.

I have Windows 7 on my Macbook really only for games.

And Kris, before you start flaming me, I'm a lite gamer, 1-2 hours a week.

It's really funny. When coming from Windows, your #1 concern is of software compatibility. It was great to find out that 90% of software that interests me is also available for OSX, and the other 10% has a similar program that works as well or better.

The only thing my Mac isn't doing as well as my PCs are games. And considering how little time I actually game, that's fine with me.
