I installed windows on my MB and it works great so far. The only issue is that bluetooth doesn't work for it yet.

I also have a sz160 and it's a fact that the MB is cheaper than a sz. But they do not share all of the same features. The MB is missing a pcmcia slot, express card slot, any type of memory card reader, no finger print scanner, noticably heavier, not a dual layer burner, smaller hdd, and no hard drive protection (I think I listed everything).

But I still think the MB is a pretty good value. It has a really nice screen as well as the ability to dual boot.

I have it on a macbook too. xp works great, just that you need to carry around a usb mouse when you want to use right click for windows. also it crashes when you try to use the built in webcam.

Windows works fine on the Macbook.

I installed it a few days ago. Bluetooth works on my MB. You might try reinstalling the drivers. Go to the link below to download an app that will fix the keyboard mapping issues. You'll be able to map a right mouse key, the lcd brightness, sound, etc to the function keys all automatically. Works really well. The only thing that doesn't work is the webcam and the speakers do not turn off when headphones are plugged in. The will all be taken care of when Apple releases a final version of Bootcamp.

Where did you find the driver for Bluetooth. I got an error saying that it could not locate the drivers, on the cd or internet.

No price drops normally, maybe upgrade in processors at standard price like we've been seeing tho.

If you want to run WIndows full time I would probably get a Windows laptop, not a mac. Bootcamp is cool, but it seems to be something for when you need windows once in a while not everyday.

Ooops, probably the most significant difference. And it's 1 lb lighter.

I just inserted the CD and everything was loaded correctly the first time. You might try inserting the CD again. I did have to answer a dialog box when it tried to install the BT software.

I have a Sony SZ, and a Macbook as well.
For all those considering the two against one another, you should keep these factors in mind: The Sony SZ is over a pound lighter, has a dedicated graphics card which means it should support windows vista aero graphics which the Macbook will not be able to support. And also my Sony SZ has a 100Gb hard drive, while the Macbook comes with just a 60GB which isn't much for running 2 operating systems on. So why do i have both? I need Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro for school and work.
    Hope this helps!

I guess he also forgot to add the cost of a Windows license, in case of buying the MacBook. :)

Not to pick on you but I've noticed a lot of people concerned with running Aero on there notebooks. Are you guys sure you want to do that? You do realize that there is a reason why Aero requires such a high graphics premium? I can just hear it now the complaints are going to start rolling in. People that once had quiet and cool notebooks are going to freak when their fans run non stop and their battery life go down the pooper because their GPU is running full tilt to keep up with Aero. Maybe I'm alone but the first thing I do after a clean install of Windows is to turn off all the eye candy. The eye candy does look better but I don't like how the responsiveness of the OS goes down the drain. I know the first time I boot up Vista I'm going to head for the tab to shut down Aero (yes I do have notebooks that can run it). I don't understand why Aero implies such a heavy performance tax. Is this just M$ trying to force DX9+ down our throats? OS X runs just fine on the integrated video of the MB....it has full Quartz Extreme acceleration.

BTW, you can config the MB with a large hard drive and the black actually comes with an 80 GB drive.
