I want to install Windows XP on my Macbook using Boot Camp, and I've already partitioned 5GB for it. Frustratingly, once I got to Setup, the only partition recognized is the one for Mac OS (C: Partition1 Unknown 131072 MB), and no other partitions to choose from. I've been doing it over and over but still nada. What gives?
P.S. I already accidentally formatted the entire laptop like an idiot just coz I was clicking away without reading, and only because there were no other options to choose from.

I can only speak from experience with Leopard, but if you use the bootcamp assistant, you partition the drive, and then it ask you to insert your install disk for XP. From there, when you go to select the partition in Windows XP install manager, you should see a partition labeled "bootcamp". This will then need to be formatted NTFS. Thats really all there is to it.

When IDEALLY, it's supposed to be similar to this:
mine only has ONE drive (C:, my Mac OS partition), and no other choices, even after I have partitioned using Bootcamp.
Windows XP install doesn't recognize partition!
