Anyone have any idea why when I started launched Windows XP in VMWare Fusion, my video chat through iChat closed and when the other party tried to connect it said something to the effect that the service isn't available. Anyone know why this happen or how or if it can be fixed? (I have never done this before, this is the first time I tired)

its possible that VMware which is using your networking, is interfering with other networking applications... if its always happening, try disabling networking in VMware as a test to confirm that and ask VMware for help, or check out their forums.

VMWare could be taking control over your iSight camera as well.

I think you are on to something there Khris. I did install the iSight camera as a 'USB port' on XP... It is probably taking it, never thought of that...

yes, there is a conflict with your vmware taking control of your isight and then the ichat is closed because only one program can access the isight at the same time.
