    - Mac OS X 10.5.3 Leopard or higher
    - Intel Core Duo Processor
    - 1024 MB RAM
    - ATI X1600 or NVidia 7300 GT with 128 MB of Video RAM, or Intel Integrated GMA X3100
    - At least 4.7GB of hard drive space for installation, plus additional space for creations.*

Your Macbook has the Integrated GMA X3100, so it meets the minimum requirements graphics-wise. It should be playable at low settings.

I just got the creature creator demo, and it plays perfect at full settings. Having the extra ram pays off :)

The creature creator is rendering (1) creature.

Safe bet that the full game will have more than (1) creature on screen at one time.

will spore run on the older macbooks? Mine is a GMA 950. I'm guessing not, but just wondering if anyone has tried it.

I would think that it would run on the gma 950 as gma 950 vs. x1300 arnt that much different.

According to the minimum specs posted above, the answer is no. It hasn't been released yet so it's hard to test now :)

It said X1600 in the requirements though, not X1300. And GMA X3100 (which I guess you might have misread as ATI X1300) is also very much different from GMA950.

It officially says the gma 950 is not supported; however, the gma x3100 is. Of course the x3100 will probably struggle a lot. Time for me to get a new iMac with an 8800gs :p

Yeah this game plays pretty good on mine. I will buy it probably. The character creation is just amazing.
