Currently the Beta version of Bootcamp will not support the "upgrade" versions of either xp or vista. Is there any word of whether upgrade versions will be supported in the "full" leopard version of bootcamp?
    Thanks

    I don't think so.

But that doesn't necessarily mean there aren't ways around the requirements. Still, I doubt an Upgrade Version will work.

Even on a Windows-based machine you're supposed to first install a Full Version of Windows, then the Upgrade. You can do the same thing with Boot Camp. First install a Full Version of Windows, then use the Upgrade. That will work.

What Xander said. Basically you can upgrade to Vista Ultimate from whatever version of Windows you use just fine provided you already have a full version available.

There are ways around this, since most Vista upgrade disks come with the full version installed anyway and you just have to bypass that - except I'm not sure if the $25 educational Vista Ultimate upgrade DVD has all that.

The major problem with upgrade disks for certain versions is the problem with ejecting a disk during installation - but that only applies to upgrading from certain versions of Windows to others.
