Do you think there would be a chance for Apple to address the build quality issues users are reporting in the new Macbooks, and revise them? If so, how long do you think it would take?

Haha, I just posted a thread about it with some links. Good timing.

What issues?

I wasn't aware of any issues? Besides that post that Micheal guy made about 1 in 2 screens being crappy.

I'm looking forward to what you have to say about the battery cover. -

Hmm my functions keys seem slightly slanted, just a little. If this doesn't create any problem later on, I don't mind. This is also what worries me about my touch pad. Half of it looks like it's in tact with casing, and the other half there's a black space between the two. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. When friday comes I'll visit the Apple store with my MBP and check out their other MBP and ask if that is normal. I'm just afraid stuff might be able to get through the space, dust, etc and create problems later on.

Just wondering, has Apple ever publicly recognized any problems with their notebooks and made revisions? Because I recall something being wrong with the 1st gen iPod touch's screen, the batch that was released right after the announcement. Something with shimmery blacks, and Apple acknowledged the problem and issued replacements?

Aha, found it.
This is the screen issue I was talking about.
They both use LED backlighting but look at the stark contrast between the Pro and the consumer line.
Creds to Gizmodo for the images. -

The new MB screen is better than the old one. By a lot. Calibrate it and it's fine.
Will Apple publicly address the issues in alumbooks?
