I have been noticing some strange behavior with my wifi. When I first received my MBP last week, my system kept locking up whenever I went to battery power using wifi. I found a fix that had something to do with the WPA password getting corrupted (seemed to be a widespread problem)...I did that and it worked. However, now, when I switch from AC power to battery, my wifi simply doesn't work. It says it's connected, but the internet will not work. The only fix is to plug the power back in and reboot, then it works again. Does anybody know what could be wrong? It's a pain to be on AC power all the time...
TIA.

Hmm could be a problem with the logic board.

I do not know exactly, but you may want to check your wireless setting. click on the wireless icon on the right corner.

I think I found the problem...It's my router. Apparently, the MBP doesn't like Linksys products, especially wireless-N ones. I switched out the router and tried a D-Link and it works fine. I am going to look into the problem a little more, supposedly you can tweak the settings in the firmware (ie disable frame burst, etc) and it should work. I hope so, I love my WRT350N.

This explains a little more about the issue. It appears to be a problem with certain chipsets found in Linksys and Belkin 802.11n routers.
