    So what program should I use if i want to edit a picture. I checked out iphoto and preview, and although it's got some cool features it still doesn't allow me to add writings to the pictures. Am i missing something ? Why cant i add letters to my pictures !!?? (i guess im kind of looking for photoshop mac then?)

    If you want something free and pretty powerful, try GIMP.

    But yes, if you want to get very advanced, Photoshop is the standard.
