    Which mac book pro should i get?

    Apple MacBook Pro MB471LL/A 15.4-Inch Laptop (2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive, Slot Loading SuperDrive)

    OR

    Apple MacBook Pro MB470LL/A 15.4-Inch Laptop (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, Slot Loading SuperDrive)

    The first on has 512 mb of the 9600gt as opposed to 256. Will the first one run hotter because of it?

    No, it won't, the video memory difference doesn't change the heat there! The 2.53 GHz MacBook Pro is obviously better because its obviously more expensive, but I personally think the minimal differences you get with it aren't worth its extra cost, so I'd go with the 2.4!

    So basically i wouldn't really getting much out of it? I plan to edit movies and game and also install vista on it.

    Yeah, there will be a difference in gaming, but not a ton, I would personally use the saved money to get something else! :)
