Some of my favorite software I've purchased:

    Transmit by Panic Software
    BBEdit by Bare Bones Software
    Macromedia Studio 8

And free, but an amazing piece of software:

    Quicksilver: http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/

    Parallels. Amazing app.
Textmate, Quicktime Pro, Stuffit Deluxe, a few games, and a few more I can't remember.

Any software that manages your finances? I'm sure after buying this fine but expensive machine I will definitely need one. Also, is there any software that exists for running a small business?

EDIT: After visiting apple.com, it looks like there is plenty of software like that available. This is one more reason to switch from linux which is still very much lagging behind in this respect.

I bought Moneydance for finances. I was going to look at a couple of others (iBank I think was one), but I really needed to get something going quickly and didn't have time to trial several programs. Plus I have a lot of data, and had a little trouble getting it out of Quicken. I wasn't interesting in wrestling with it more than once.

    I'm happy with Moneydance, though.
