This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     A colleague of mine has a G4 15" 1.25 Ghz Powerbook with 512M of RAM installed by default. They now need to spend a lot more time with iMovie and Photoshop CS2... and they need some more RAM.

    There budget is limited but they are able to source Corsair 512MB DDR-333 SO-DIMM for 80 AUD. Is this sufficient? Do they need to purchase slower RAM for the Powerbook to guarantee compatibility/performance?
