I uninstalled 7.0 and went back to 6.0.3. It's half the size, same features and version 7 shows a contacts group called "Bonjour" that cannot be hidden or deleted.

I was really hoping I could use the camera and stuff. I was using Adium for yahoo and msn and just skype. But everyone on yahoo wanted the cam and file transfers and such. So now I have all 3 again.

    At least they work.

Yeah the latest msn messenger looks like the old window's messenger with a new skin...=( I'm using Adium right now, but its still now as good as msn on windows IMO. Still missing features and I don't really like the look of it either.

Yea, it sucks that the messenger for mac does not take advantage of the iSight like Skype does

The latest Mac version of Messenger is 6.0, and it is far behind the Windows versions. This is where I find Microsoft's argument that they develop Mac software just as well as they develop their Windows applications...MSN Messenger is far behind in features, interface and stability.

d1anec3, at the moment there are no viruses targeting Mac OS X in the wild, so no, its not necessary to install antivirus on a Mac :).
