Is there any place other than ebay to purchase AppleCare for my MacBook Pro for less than Apple sells it for?
-
I've seen it on eBay.

If you go on Newegg.com they will have it for cheaper than what Apple sells it for sure.
I got mine from there and it is just like what you can get at apple. -
I bought my AppleCare from Amazon.com

Watch for the cheaper buy it now AppleCare auctions on Ebay. If you go through live.com you can get a cash reimbursement of a % of the cost. That percentage has been fluctuating and has been as high as 35%, although right now I'm not seeing in ebay cash back offers on live so maybe the deal might be dead. Anyway I got AppleCare for my MBP for $170 this way

squaretrade.com offers alternate warranty

You would actually benefit the world more by taking the money you would spend for a squaretrade warranty, throw it all in a toilet bowl, press the lever, and watch it swirl away.
Now... AppleCare (Which is actually worth something, and they will actually stand behind the warranty...)
Even though you want an alternative to eBay, just keep an eye out on there. I've seen some very good deals for AppleCare on there for my Mac Pro (unfortunately I didn't have the spare cash at the time I saw it), as well as some MacBook warranties.
Check craigslist too. Might get a deal there.
You can also try a quick search with Google shopping (google.com, click the shopping link up top, and search for AppleCare MacBook Pro).
Where can I buy AppleCare for less than at Apple?
