A Few Friends from work were asking about buying Mac's, But they said they wanted to get the older model aluminum and plastic instead of the new unibody ones. So Basically I was just wondering where i could get one..or do they even still sell somewhere now that the new ones are out so long...Thanks in Advance

Microcenter, for one, sells a lot of previous generation Macs.

Not directly from Apple. You can find loads on sites such as eBay, and some retailers are still doing them, such as amazon.com.

Sometimes the Apple Refurb stores have them in stock (you have to check back regularly). Last I checked the 2.4GHz/200GB 15" was $1349 and my GF's brother got one last time they were in stock.

They pop up on the refurb site from time to time, but the matte ones are gone within 15 minutes and the glossy within 30.

Ebay is a decent source, but you can expect a 2nd hand macbook pro to still be quite expensive. Macs tend to have a high re-sale price. That's why it's often better to just buy new.

Apple has extended the warranty on those affected Nvidia cards.
