    I know Apples updates and refreshes every product line yearly.

    Haven't been following things closesly, but is the current MPB 2011's product refresh? Or is there a new model due sometime soon?

    very unlikely I'll bet on a refresh on there mobile line up at about this time next year.

    I do expect apple to update the iMac/mini line up in the next few months.

    Normal Macbook might get a change sometime soon... but not the Pro's, they were just updated.

    Just like every other company, Apple will follow Intel's roadmap for refreshes on their architecture.
