I actually looking at the Macbook air today would like the MBP to be an enlarged version of that(thicker as well) with more USB ports, because I do not like the bath tub look that they have right now with the MBP, i like the wedge shape. Also better GPU!!!!!!! I have been rambling about that for a couple of months now. And I would actually like to see a 16", and 18" screen, for the 16:9 wide screen.

***Also with the Macbook air design i also want it to have upgradeable ram and harddrive also a replaceable battery.

The only thing I would change with the MBP is the keyboard to match the MacBook style. Other than that the MBP is awesome.

I don't want them to touch the style... All I want is that new touchpad tech :)

I am sorry but I cannot stand the bathtub look, I like the wedge shape and the corners that are on the Macbook air. Overall I like the UFO shape that it looks like.

I wish it would have the ability to...

Have the options for a better video card(8700 or 8800, but, that would kill battery life)
Change the colors of the backlit keyboard
Almost as thin as the macbook air
Weigh as much as the macbook air
All LED backlights for both 15 & 17" models
    A trackpoint for me.
    And, lowering prices by $100-$200.

Oh, and a design change. instead of silver aluminum, Glossy Piano Black finish. :D

    That's just me. :p

Yeah, it looks very good, but I'm worried they'd have to stretch the body a bit bigger to fit in the tapered edges, since you cant exactly put MBP parts in those thin ends. The Air is definatley the best looking one IMO though. Don't have a problem with the MBP though, yeah it's not as cool, but I like it.

Same here all my reasons are not good enough not to buy it. But I am just saying it would be great if it looked like that.

i want the exact same thing I have now, except with a chassis made completely of carbon fiber, real carbon fiber, not the composite bullcrap some companies try to pass off as fancy.

I am talking Formula 1 grade perfect carbon fiber, if it isn't perfect, then Aluminum is still easily the best option.

I would also like the same new keyboard layout as the MacBook's and the new Aluminum keyboards.

As well as the new multitouch trackpad's

    and LED backlight

and a BluRay drive, that reads and burns

    and a 500gb 7200rpm HDD

    that is all ^_^

I would like the MBP to be:

    Even thinner
    Even lighter
    Cheaper
    Magnetic Latch
    MacBook keyboard, backlit though
    More USB ports
    Higher resolution option

I want the MBP to be as powerful as a gaming desktop, 10 hr battery, and .1 inches thick throughout. THAT is what I want.
