Can I run most games on at least medium settings with high FPS?

What games, in particular? And what settings (resolution and the like)?

I haven't tried many games on my early 2014 MacBook Air (11-inch), which uses Intel HD 5000 graphics, but the ones I have tried have run fairly well. I've tried WoW, Diablo III, Hearthstone, and Quake 4. WoW actually runs better on my MacBook Air than on my early 2011 MacBook Pro (17-inch), but that may have something to do with the lower resolution of the 11-inch screen.

My 2013 Retina MacBook Pro 13 will be here Tuesday; I can run a few games if that would help.

I found the difference between the Intel 5000 and Iris to not be much of any significance. LoL runs at low-medium settings at 60 fps at 720p.. Diablo3 is pretty chunky at 720p even at lowest settings.. Etc. I ultimately returned my MBPr 13 and will wait for the refresh end of the year (hopefully Broadwell by then).

I wouldn't expect any Macs with Broadwell chips until Q1 2015.
