I'm trying to open this file that I downloaded. It is called Allele A1. It's an allele mapping software that I can't seem to open.

It has the extension .sit, and when I open it all I get is a window with a whole lot of wierd characters. How can I get the program to run?

Try using stuffit, or any other type of unarchiver program for osx.

Also can google "sit extractor" for lots of other links.

A .sit file is a type of file that won't install unless you're sitting down when installing. :p J/K .. I just popped in to say hello Toshiba Dude, I see you're still sticking with your name huh? ;)
