I went to the Apple Store yesterday, and I love the Macbook. The screen size is fine, but I don't want to buy it if there is an update ready for it. What are the odds that Apple will increase the screen size of the Macbook to increase their Air sales, or just have a plain old update to the Macbook anytime soon?

    You're wrong. It's 2 in a trillion, or 1 in five-hundred billion.

    Yeah, I guess you're right.
What amuses me is that this kind of thread only appears (mostly actually) in this Apple area :) (this and the 8800M GTX in the MacBook Pro, maybe even with a quad).

good catch. and no i dont see that happening for atleast a year, probably longer. everybody wants apple to have a laptop just for them, but IMHO, apple is still to small a company to have a 10 notebook line.

Apple should of released a new 13.3" or 14" MacBook Pro or at least a new black updated 15.4" MBP at the Apple convention but instead they decided to put their focus on the retarded MacBook Air which serves little purpose to most.

I don't expect any new Macs for a few months, or at least not until WWDC 2008. With the MacBook Air and expected updates to other Macs, I don't expect a new line of Macs this quickly. Anyhow, I would like a 14-inch Mac notebook myself, to me, that's the perfect balance between portability and a good screen size :).

u have nothing to worry about as I dont see Apple ever raising there 13.3 inch screen since that is considered there "budget" line of computers, so u've got nothing to worry about.

Well if you're like me, there's no need to pay for the extra graphics power that the Macbook Pro offers. I consider the Macbook to be at a good price point, but the Macbook Pro is just too darn expensive.

I like the black MacBook somewhat but they charge quite a bit extra for the black version of the white and then i also don't like certain aspects of it like especially the mini-DVI which even with the adapter is somewhat a PITA for running an external display on.
